
Women's Tennis Blanks St. Joe's 7-0 for Second Win of the Day

ORLANDO, Fla. - Radford picked up its second victory of the day with a 7-0 sweep of St. Joseph's Wednesday night in women's tennis action at Sanlando Park.
The Highlanders, who defeated Rochester earlier in the day, improve to 6-4 overall, while the Hawks drop to 4-13.
The freshmen duo of Petra Dajevic (Zagreb, Croatia/Sportska gimnazija) and Mia Drobnjak (Zagreb, Croatia/Sportska gimnazija) continue to be a formidable force at the top spots in singles as they kept their streaks alive with straight-set wins over Jennifer Kedzierski and Laura Matz, respectively.
Mirna Matic (Umag, Croatia/Vladmir Gortan Buje) and Christina Hammond (Charles Town, W.Va./Jefferson) have a streak of their own going in doubles as they picked up their third win in a row with an impressive 8-0 victory over C. Scardellette and Erin Malafronte of St. Joseph's.
The Highlanders will be back in action Wednesday, March. 12 at 8:00 a.m. against St. Cloud State.
