
WOMEN’S GOLF SITS FOURTH AFTER DAY ONE OF SUNSHINE SPRING CLASSIC

ROUND ONE RESULTS
MIMS, Fla. – Battling windy conditions, junior Jade Okamoto opened with a 79 as the Radford women's golf team sits fourth following day one of the 2011 Sunshine Spring Classic on Friday, hosted by Detroit Mercy.
The 16-team / 96-competitor event is being played on the Par 72, 6,038-yard Walkabout Golf and Country Club layout.
Okamoto is currently tied with four other players, while freshman Paige Reese will enter the final round tied for 25th after shooting 84.
Both Hannah Coles and Kirsty Condon are in 27th.
Lehigh (321) holds the top spot on the team leaderboard.
The Highlanders will return to the course on Saturday for the final round.
