
WOMEN’S TENNIS FALLS TO JAMES MADISON 6-1

RESULTS
RADFORD, Va. – Despite winning the doubles point, the Radford women's tennis team fell to James Madison, 6-1, in non-conference action Friday afternoon at the RU Tennis Courts.
The loss drops the Highlanders to 6-13 overall, while the Dukes improve to 11-7 on the season.
Radford came out to a 1-0 advantage after taking two out of the three doubles matches. The top duo of Mia Drobnjak and Petra Dajevic recorded an 8-5 victory, while Mirna Matic and Ivana Tomaic rallied from a 4-1 deficit to take an 8-6 decision on court two.
James Madison responded with taking all six singles matches in straight-sets to secure the win.
The Highlanders will be back on the court Sunday for their season finale match against Longwood at 2 p.m.
