BUCS SNAP WOMEN’S TENNIS’ FOUR-MATCH WINNING STREAK

RADFORD, Va. – After the Buccaneers had their 13-match Big South winning streak snapped Saturday at Liberty, Charleston Southern returned to the win column with a 7-0 women's tennis victory over Radford, Sunday afternoon at the Radford University Tennis Complex.
With the loss, RU drops to 4-8 overall and 1-4 in Big South play. It was Radford's first loss in five matches.
CSU (11-2, 5-1 Big South) cruised to the doubles point by sweeping all three decisions. The Bucs continued their dominance in singles, posting straight-set wins in all six matches.
The Highlanders are back in action next weekend when they host Gardner-Webb (Saturday at 12 p.m.) and Coastal Carolina (Sunday at 1 p.m.) at the Radford University Tennis Complex.
