
MANZANO PICKS UP WIN IN 6-1 LOSS TO LIBERTY

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Radford dropped its fourth Big South match of the season to Commonwealth foe Liberty in a 6-1 decision, Thursday afternoon at the Sports Racket.

The two teams split the first two doubles matches as Jose Moreno Manzano and Michiel Meekers picked up a 6-3 win in the No. 3 spot. Liberty took the final match, earning the doubles point.

Liberty would go on to win the next four singles matches, before Manzano gave the Highlanders a point in the No. 6 spot. Manzano defeated David Bush in an exciting 2-6, 6-4 (10-5) decision. Â

Radford (1-11, 0-4) continues Big South play on Saturday, hosting Campbell for a 11 a.m. match.
