HIGHLANDERS' SEASON ENDS WITH 4-0 LOSS TO COASTAL CAROLINA

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Radford saw its 2016 season end with a 4-0 loss to No. 1 Coastal Carolina in the Big South Tournament Quarterfinals, Thursday afternoon at the Cook Tennis Center

The Chanticleers controlled the doubles point, taking the Nos. 1 and 2 flights. It only took Coastal Carolina three singles matches to earn the 4-0 win.

Alexandros Caldwell won the first set in No. 1 singles (6-2) and Nikhil Mannepalli took a 6-4 set win in the No. 4 spot, but the duo was unable to continue as the Chanticleers had already clinched the match.

Radford finishes its season with a 4-16 overall record, winning two of its last three matches.
