Women’s Tennis Competes at ITA Regionals

BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Radford women's tennis program took on some of the best talent in the Atlantic Region this past weekend at the ITA Regionals on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Ameek Batth and Brooke Murphy highlighted the weekend with their first-round victory on Friday afternoon over the pairing of Mathur/Liang from Mount St. Mary's 8-6. Camryn McClure also had an intense battle of the qualifying singles bracket going three sets before ultimately falling 6-1, 6(2)-7, 1-0(6) to Kendall Kovick from West Virginia.

The Highlanders will be back in action in a couple weeks when the team will be back in Blacksburg, Va. to compete in the Hokie Invite between November 11th and November 13th.
