Women’s Tennis Cruises by University of Charleston

BOX SCORE HUNTINGTON, W.V. – Radford (3-1) got back in the win column Friday night against University of Charleston with a 6-1 win.

The Highlanders looked strong in doubles play sweeping the competition with wins on all three courts. Salma Loudili and Malin Falk won 6-2 on court one while Emily Brandow and Ameek Batth won 6-1 on court two. Court three was a bit more contested, but Melissa Ifidzhen and Priscilla Stojanovska still pulled out the 7-6(5) win.

Ifidzhen was the first to finish in singles with a 6-1, 6-2 win on court four to make it a 2-0 lead. Loudili picked up a 6-1, 6-2 win on court one soon after and it was the newcomer Batth who clinched on court five winning 6-4, 6-1. Brandow added a win on court three 6-1, 7-6(6) and Camryn McClure capped off the evening with a 6-4, 6-0 win on court six.
