Women’s Tennis Falls to Marshall

HUNTINGTON, W.V. – Radford (3-2) fell to a tough Marshall squad Saturday afternoon by a final score of 6-1 with Priscilla Stojanovska owning the lone singles win of the day for the Highlanders.

Marshall was able to claim all three doubles courts to take the 1-0 lead to start the afternoon, but Ameek Batth and Emily Brandow were competitive in a 3-6 battle on court two.

In singles play most of Radford's lineup played one court higher than normal and Marshall took advantage. The freshman Priscilla Stojanovska captured the lone point of the day for Radford on court six. Stojanovska came back after dropping the first set to win 4-6, 6-3, 1-0.
