Radford Cruises Past Tennessee Tech in 6-1 Win

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Radford men's tennis program isn't slowing down after picking up their third true road victory of the season Tuesday afternoon in a decisive 6-1 victory over Tennessee Tech.
Starting things off in doubles play the Highlanders began with an advantage due to winning by default on court three. Demis Taramonlis and Dinos Raptis had the deciding victory for Radford, picking up yet another win on court one 6-4.
From there the Highlanders would go on to dominate in singles play winning in five of the six courts. Radford picked up court six by default to go up 2-0 while Robert Hagen was dominant on court five 6-3, 6-1. Raptis also won decisively in straight sets on court three 6-3, 6-2.
Aditya Balsekar followed suit with a 6-3, 6-3 straight set victory on court two. Guilherme Severin battled hard in his three-set victory on court four defeating his opponent 6-4, 5-7, 11-9 which sealed the 6-1 victory for the Highlanders.

Radford has a quick turnaround before their next match tomorrow afternoon in Jacksonville, Al. against Jacksonville State. First serve is currently set for 2 p.m. and will mark the Highlanders ninth-straight match away from home.
