Volleyball Falls to High Point in Tuesday Tilt

HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Radford volleyball program fell to a strong High Point squad 3-0 on the road Thursday night.

PLAY BY PLAY
Tuesday night's match got off to a tight start as the Highlanders and Panthers would both trade points. Kills from Slivka and Paspal began the offensive night for Radford while Aubrey Hatch and Sierra Moore would earn early kills as well.

The two teams remained tied at 12-12 until the Panthers got a 4-0 run for their biggest lead of the game. The Highlanders would claw back thanks to some Panthers errors, but the hosts held on to take the opening set 25-19.

In the second and third set, High Point took over winning the two sets 25-13 and 25-14. Paspal would continue her strong night earning eight of her nine kills over the final two sets. Attack errors mounted, however, allowing High Point to earn the 3-0 final.

UP NEXT
The Highlanders will return home for another pair of matches this weekend. Action begins on Friday, November 1st as Radford will host Gardner-Webb for a 6 p.m. start on ESPN+.
