Marangoni and Hagen Highlight Men’s Tennis’ Match at North Florida

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford men's tennis program fell 5-2 at North Florida Saturday afternoon but got a pair of solid singles victories from Filippo Marangoni and Robert Hagen.
In doubles, North Florida took all three courts but Guilherme Severin and Charles Courteau were battling in a tight 5-7 finish.
The Ospreys took three straight courts to get the clinch, but Radford claimed a pair of victories late for the 5-2 final. Marangoni won in straight sets with a strong 6-4, 6-4 performance on court six. Hagen earned a big win on court three singles in comeback fashion winning 4-6, 6-4, 1-0(5).
Radford has one more road match before returning home as they will visit James Madison early next week. The Highlanders and Dukes are making up a previously postponed match in Harrisonburg, Va. on Wednesday, February 28th at 2 p.m.
