Hagen Earns Singles Win Against UNC Asheville

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford men's tennis program fell 6-1 in a round of Big South action with UNC Asheville Saturday afternoon with Robert Hagen highlighting with a singles victory.
The doubles point was tightly contested between the Bulldogs and Highlanders. UNC Asheville was able to take the 1-0 lead with 6-4 wins on courts two and three. The duo of Guilherme Severin and Charles Courteau were up 6-5 before going unfinished.
In singles play, Hagen was able to briefly tie the match up at one-all with his win on court four 6-3, 6-4. The Bulldogs would the other remaining five courts, however, for the 6-1 final.
The Highlanders stick to conference play with a rescheduled Big South match at Presbyterian on Tuesday, April 2nd, at 2 p.m.
