Saporta Tabbed with Second Freshman of the Week Award

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference announced Wednesday afternoon that Tom Saporta has been named the Freshman of the Week after a solid power singles win last week.
The Israel native shined in Radford's lone victory of the week as the newcomer picked up a power victory over BYU 6-2, 7-6(5) in frigid conditions on court two. The power win is the first by a Highlander since 2022 against N.C. State.
Saporta and the Highlanders return to action next Wednesday, March 13th, to start their conference schedule at Longwood.
