Men’s Tennis Completes Season Against South Carolina State

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford men's tennis program fell to South Carolina State Wednesday afternoon 4-0 concluding their regular season.
In doubles, the point was tightly contested coming down to the final court. After the Bulldogs took court one, Radford responded thanks to Evan Edwards and Manfredi Vergine who won dominantly on court three 6-2. South Carolina State would take court two, however, for the 1-0 early advantage.
In singles, the Bulldogs got wins on courts one, two and five to clinch the match at its eventual final 4-0. Tom Saporta was up 6-3, 4-3 on court two before his match went unfinished. On court six, Manfredi Vergine was battling back down 1-6, 5-5 before he also went unfinished.
