EARLYSVILLE, Va. – The Radford men's and women's cross country programs wrapped up their 2025 season in the NCAA Southeast Regional meet at Panorama Farms, hosted by University of Virginia. The women's program notched 25th place as a team, while the men's team finished 29th.
Sophie Magson led the Highlanders and added another record, leading the women's team with a time of 21:47.1, which ranks eighth all-time in program history.
Delaney Eller also had a strong showing, finishing second among Radford runners and setting a new PR for a 6k.
Rounding out the scoring runners for the women's program were
Allison Nelson,
Katelyn Campbell, and
Megan Cash. Campbell set a new 6k PR time to end her freshman campaign.
Mia Farley and
Cora Gentzel were the final two Radford finishers, with Farley cutting off over two minutes and improving 40 spots compared to last year's regional race.
The men's team was led by freshman
Spencer Thacker who ran his first collegiate 10k. Senior Lima McDonald was the next finisher for the Highlanders, who cut off several minutes to set a PR for 10k.
Quinlan Beegle followed closely behind McDonald to be Radford's third finisher.
Mason Erchull and
Hayat Khan closed out Radford's top-five placements.
