Radford University is cancelling its 2024-25 men's tennis season, effective immediately. 

The decision comes as a result of student-athlete injuries that limit the number of available players. Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) regulation I.D.8. states that a team must meet the minimum requirement of "Four physically abled players" for dual match competition. Radford is currently below that threshold. NCAA tennis competition is governed by ITA playing rules. 

Radford has not competed in any dual matches this spring. Three dual matches originally scheduled prior to Feb. 24 were cancelled or postponed due to inclement weather. 

Radford University appreciates the efforts of its men's tennis student-athletes, coaches and support staff in the 2024-25 season.
