Joiner, Women’s Track & Field Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

RADFORD, Va. – Jaelynn Joiner and the Radford women's track and field were recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team for the 2025-26 indoor and outdoor seasons on Monday afternoon. Joiner was named an All-Academic Athlete, while the team was honored as one of the All-Academic squads.
This is the 11th time in program history that the women's track and field program has earned the award, including eight of the last 10 seasons. The Highlanders earned a cumulative 3.37 GPA to earn the award. A total of 29 student-athletes earned a 3.0 GPA or better, and 26 of those 29 student-athletes had a 3.5 GPA or better in the 2025-26 academic year.
Joiner is just the fifth Highlander to earn All-Academic Athlete honors, joining Aimee Veatch (2012), Ashlen Veatch (2015), Hannah Moran (2022), and Chloe Wellings (2024) as Radford recipients. The freshman qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships and competed in the East Region First Rounds in the long jump.
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, student-athletes must maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. Nominees must have completed at least two semesters at their institution. They also must rank in the top 96 nationally in a championship event (indoor season) or compete in the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
