Cross Country Releases 2026 Schedule

RADFORD, Va. – Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Shelli Sayers has announced the 2026 schedule, a five-race slate set to challenge the men's and women's programs full of young, talented runners.

The Highlanders compete twice in the commonwealth, with both of their meets in state taking place in Southwest Virginia. They open the season at Virginia Tech in the Hokie Invite (Sept. 17) and will run in Salem at the Fast Times Invite (Oct. 3).

Radford finishes the regular season in Spartanburg, S.C., taking part in the Upstate Invite on Oct. 17. They'll return twice more to The Hub City, first for the Big South Championships on Oct. 30 and then for the NCAA Southeast Regional meet on Nov. 13.

Friday, Sept. 18 – Hokie Invite (Blacksburg, Va.)
Saturday, Oct. 3 – Fast Times Invite (Salem, Va.)
Saturday, Oct. 17 – Upstate Invite (Spartanburg, S.C.)
Friday, Oct. 30 – Big South Championships (Spartanburg, S.C.)
Friday, Nov. 13 – NCAA Southeast Regional (Spartanburg, S.C.)
