Biography

AS A SENIOR (2008-09): Finished his career fifth on Radford’s all-time blocks list with 99 career swats... Concluded the year ranked fifth among Big South Conference leaders in blocks (48) and blocks per game (1.45)... Averaged over five rebounds per game over the Highlanders’ last nine contests... Compiled two or more blocks in a contest 13 times this season... Recorded four blocks against Bridgewater (11/18)... Tied his career-high and set a new John Paul Jones Arena record with six blocks at Virginia (11/21)... Also grabbed a season-high nine rebounds in 26 minutes against the Cavaliers... Compiled five rebounds and a block in 15 minutes off the bench at No. 6 Wake Forest (12/30)... Recorded a season-high 11 points off the bench in back-to-back games with UNC Asheville (1/10) and Charleston Southern (1/12)... Combined to go 7-for-14 from the floor while pulling down a total of 12 rebounds in those contests... For the third consecutive outing, recorded 11 points off the bench, while missing just one of his five shots in Radford’s 13-point win at High Point... Tallied his fourth game with at least three blocks in Radfords’ overtime victory against Coastal Carolina (2/9)... Recorded two blocks and seven rebounds in 16 minutes at UNC Asheville (2/14)... For the second time in as many contests, compiled seven rebounds in 16 minutes off the bench at Charleston Southern (2/16)... Turned in another solid performance off the bench with six points, five rebounds and two blocks in 18 minutes of action against High Point (2/25)... In the Big South semifinals against UNC Asheville (3/5), recorded six points, five rebounds and four blocks in just 19 minutes... Despite playing just 11 minutes in the Big South Championship game (3/7), scored 10 points and grabbed five rebounds... Capped his career with six points, 10 rebounds and three blocks in the first round of the 2009 NCAA Tournament against top-seeded North Carolina (3/19).

AS A JUNIOR (2007-08):
Appeared in 22 contests as a junior… Ranked second on the club and 10th in the Big South in rebounding with an average of 5.1 per outing… Despite playing just 17.9 minutes per game, led the Highlanders and ranked fourth among league leaders in total blocks with 40… Pulled down 10 or more boards in a contest on four separate occasions… Turned away four or more shots in a game five times during the 2007-08 campaign… Along with a personal-best 24 points on 11-of-14 shooting, grabbed 13 rebounds for his first career double-double in Radford’s 124-109 triumph over Emory Henry… In that same contest, just missed tying the school record for blocks in a game with six… Turned in a solid performance against conference-foe Charleston Southern compiling 11 points, eight rebounds and five blocks… In Radford’s 62-53 victory over eventual regular season champion UNC Ashville, led the Highlanders’ dominating performance on the glass with a career-high 16 rebounds… Recorded his third double figure scoring performances on the slate in the regular season finale against Liberty with 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2006-07): Played in eight games ... Had his best game of the season versus Shenandoah, scoring four points on 2-of-3 shooting and two blocked shots ... Pulled down two rebounds against Alcorn State.

AS A FRESHMAN (2005-06): Played in 20 games ... Scored first career points at Arkansas, sinking a three-pointer ... Recorded a career-high six points versus High Point ... Grabbed two rebounds three different times ... Blocked seven shots during the season, including two at Liberty and two versus High Point ... Shot 75 percent from the line ... Also had three steals on the season ... Played extended minutes in both Liberty games.

IN HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Coach Art Wade at Ben L. Smith High School.

ACADEMICS/COMMUNITY SERVICE: Is majoring in Exercise, Sport and Health Education at Radford.
