Capped his impressive fall campaign by defeating five nationally-ranked players in eight matches at the D’Novo ITA All-American Championships hosted by Tulsa… Defeated the 4th, 12th, 39th, 50th and 73rd ranked players before falling in the semifinals of the consolation bracket… Advanced to the 2010 NCAA Singles Championships… Climbed to as high as No. 66 in the ITA Rankings before finishing the season ranked No. 79… A three-time Big South Player of the Week selection… Earned all-conference honors in both singles and doubles… No. 1 doubles Big South Flight Champion… Voted second-team all-state in both singles and doubles… Finished 16-6 at the top singles position… Teamed with freshman Thomas Dehaen to go a conference-best 18-1 in doubles… Closed the season with 14 straight doubles victories… Finished with a perfect 6-0 doubles mark against league competition… After dropping his first four matches of the season, reeled off 13 consecutive wins, including 11 in straight sets.

Finished the fall 5-3, while advancing to the Round of 16 at the ITA Midwest Regional and UVA Ranked Plus One Invitational ... Recorded a 17-4 singles mark in the spring, including his second straight unblemished league slate ... Teamed with Mehdi Benhammou to go 22-4 in doubles at the No. 2 position ... Salec and Benhammou enter the NCAA Tournament on a 13-match winning streak.
