Appeared in all 19 rounds … Led team with 78.05 scoring average … Collected two Top 5 and two Top 10 finishes … Named to All-Big South Tournament Team after finishing fifth with a 222 (73-75-74) for her lowest 54-hole total on the season … Also finished fifth in F&M Bank APSU Invitational with a 229 (76-72-81) … Turned in lowest round on season by a Highlander with an even 72 in the second round … Best 36-hole round of 152 (77-75) came in Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate to finish tied for 23rd … Had 13 rounds under 80 … Turned in with seven rounds of 75 or lower … Totaled three Top 20 performances … Finished fourth in program history with 78.32 career scoring average.

Ranked as high as 96th in the AJGA Polo Golf Rankings, Thiagaraj (pronounced Th-ee-ah-garage) is one of the top recruits in the Class of 2014 hailing from Virginia according to the organization ... In her five AJGA events in 2013, Thiagaraj placed no lower than 11th, which included a runner-up showing at the AJGA Junior at Penn State where she carded a 223 (73-73-77) ... Originally from India, Thiagaraj and her family moved to Maryland in 2008 ... In 2010, her family relocated to Virginia ... Because of her moving, Thiagaraj had the opportunity to play for both Maryland and Virginia in the annual state team matches.
