AS A SOPHOMORE (2022-23)
Saw action in two fall tournaments, picking up a singles win over North Carolina A&T and a doubles win against Western Carolina … Competed in 18 matches during the spring schedule for the Highlanders primarily competing on court one singles and court one doubles … Collected her first regular season win with the Highlanders against East Carolina 6-3, 6-1 … Collected a huge singles win against #75 Marshall 7-6(5), 0-6, 1-0(9) … Earned a Big South win against Presbyterian in singles 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 and against Charleston Southern in doubles 6-2.

Coming out of high school Abrams was a four-star recruit at Mooresville High School. While there, Abrams was a 4A doubles finalist her sophomore season in 2019. She was the singles champion at the 4A level during the 2020 and 2021 seasons and in 2021 was named the North Carolina USTA High School Player of the Year. Abrams was born in Clearwater, Fla. and began her tennis career at just the age of four years old. She also will be a transfer from N.C. State.
