Addy Greene was announced as an assistant softball coach in August 2025 and is entering her first season in the role.

"I'm incredibly excited to be coaching alongside such an amazing staff and a talented group of players," commented Greene. "My love for the game is what brought me back, and having the opportunity to give back to the sport that gave me so much is truly special. I hope to bring a fresh perspective to the program and inspire the next generation of players."

The Suffolk, Va., native joins the Highlanders after spending four seasons as a standout student-athlete with Virginia Tech's softball program. Graduating with her degree in human nutrition, foods and exercise in 2024, Greene was an All-American outfielder with the Hokies earning honors such as NFCA First-Team All-American, All-ACC First-Team, All-ACC Tournament Team and VaSID All-State First-Team.
