RADFORD, Va. – The Radford women's golf team has added a home dual match with Wofford College on Tuesday, Nov. 8 to finalize their fall slate. The teams will tee off at noon at Draper Valley Golf Club.
With a chance to play in front of home fans for the first time since 2008, fourth year head coach Jeff Beeler is honored to host an event and feels his team is up to the challenge of playing a talented Wofford squad.
"It's a great opportunity for our team to play at our home course in front of the Radford Community. Wofford is a good program and we are excited to compete against them.”
It will mark the third dual for Radford this season, with the other two resulting in victories over Presbyterian and Hollins College.
In their season opener, Wofford placed runner-up at the Terrier Intercollegiate and later placed fifth at the Wendy's Invitational.
