LAWRENCVILLE, N.J. – Rider scored three first-half goals and defeated Radford, 3-0, Saturday afternoon from Ben Cohen Field.
Radford (4-3) goalkeepers combined to make 21 saves, including a career-high 12 by Rebecca May (Swedesboro, N.J../Kingsway Regional), who kept the Broncs (5-1) off the scoreboard in the second half.
The Broncs tallied all three of their goals in the first half, scoring in the 11th, 21st and 31st minutes.
Sidney Encarnacion (Williamsburg, Va./Walsingham Academy) stopped nine shots in the first half. Senior Courtney Poole (Gloucester, Va./Gloucester) recorded three of Radford's four shots.
Radford wraps up its trip with a contest at Villanova on Sunday at 1 p.m.
