
RADFORD WINS 4TH STRAIGHT; DEFEATS PRESBYTERIAN IN LEAGUE OPENER

CLINTON, S.C. - After sweeping the doubles portion, Radford won five singles matches to defeat Presbyterian, 6-1, in Big South women's tennis action Saturday afternoon.
The Highlanders increased their winning streak to four, while improving to 5-2 and 1-0 in Big South play.
Petra Dajevic and Hannah Crawford cruised in straight sets to put Radford up, 3-0, and one win away from securing the dual.
After Greer Ransom forced a third and decisive set, Mia Drobnjak battled back for a 6-2 decision in the final frame to win on court three.
Freshmen Gemma Valls and Meg Napolitano also had singles wins for the Highlanders at the number four and six spots, respectively.
Presbyterian's lone point came from Patricia Alves at the number five position.
Radford continues conference play at Gardner-Webb tomorrow afternoon.
