WOMEN’S TENNIS PUTS FINISHING TOUCHES ON PERFECT SPRING BREAK

ORLANDO, Fla. – Radford capped its annual Spring Break to the Sunshine State with a 7-0 victory over North Dakota in non-conference women's tennis action Saturday morning.
The Highlanders, who went 4-0 this week, have won nine of their last 11 matches to improve to 10-4 on the season.
In addition to cruising in the doubles portion, Radford swept the singles competition in straight sets, highlighted by five shutouts.
The Highlanders, who recorded their fourth shutout of the season, got singles victories from Petra Dajevic, Hannah Crawford, Mia Drobnjak, Gemma Valls, Taylor Newman and Meg Napolitano.
Radford will conclude its stretch of 15-straight away from home to open the 2012 campaign with a 3 p.m. match at in-state foe James Madison on March 16.
