
TRIP TO TENNESSEE FINALIZES FALL ACTION FOR WOMEN’S GOLF

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford women's golf team wraps up its fall campaign Monday and Tuesday at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate hosted by Austin Peay State University. The two-day, 36-hole event will take place at the par 72, 5,960-yard Clarksville Country Club in Clarksville, Tenn.
The Highlanders hope to channel their second round at the CSU Wendy's Invitational where they shot a season-best, 2-over-par 290. The team eventually placed seventh in the 13-team field.
Leading RU was Alexandra Austin, who tied for 18th at 230 (84-69-77). The junior has yet to finish outside the top 20 this season. Hayley Hammond finished one shot behind at 231 (80-70-81). Kirsty Condon and Olivia Jay tied for 32nd with scores of 237, while Paige Reese tied for 55th at 247 (85-76-86).
Monday's first round begins at 8:18 a.m. (CT) for the Highlanders, while Tuesday's final round begins with an 8:30 a.m. (CT) shotgun start. Tournament host Austin Peay, Belmont, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, Houston Baptist, Jacksonville State, Lipscomb, Murray State, Northern Kentucky, SIU Edwardsville, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech and Towson will join Radford for the 14-team event.
