
COASTAL CAROLINA, CAMPBELL ON TAP FOR MEN’S TENNIS

RADFORD, Va. – A week featuring two Big South tilts with Coastal Carolina and Campbell are on deck for the Radford men's tennis team this week.
The Highlanders will be seeking their first win of the season when they travel to Conway, S.C. to battle the Chanticleers on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
Coastal Carolina is 2-2 on the season with both losses coming on the road—UNC Greensboro and 49th-ranked Virginia Tech. The Chanticleers are scheduled to play Gardner-Webb Saturday before hosting Radford.
The Highlanders and Coastal collided in the New River Valley for their lone encounter last season, a 6-1 RU victory.
Entering their dual with the Highlanders, the Camels are 3-4 overall and on a two-match skid. 64th-ranked Fernando Guillen has posted a 4-3 ledger in his seven contests at No. 1 singles for Campbell. He enters the weekend as the top-ranked Big South singles player.
RU hooked up with the Camels twice last season. The Highlanders downed Campbell 6-1 at home and 4-0 in the semifinals of the conference tournament.
After its trip to Buies Creek, Radford hosts Eastern Kentucky, Sunday, March 3 in its home opener at 10:00 a.m. from the Radford University Tennis Complex.
