RADFORD LINEUP
William & Mary has attracted quite a strong field to Williamsburg this weekend. CAA powerhouses Elon and UNC Wilmington headline the 13-team tournament. Seton Hall, which won the Bucknell Invitational last week, is also entered.
THE COURSE
Designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, the Plantation Course challenges players of all skill levels. Maxing out at 6,432 yards, the par 71 layout features generous landing locations, water on eight holes and heavily wooded areas.
The greens are large and provide inviting targets for approach shots. Once on the putting surface, undulations and swales make getting down in two a satisfying accomplishment.
UP NEXT
On deck for the Highlanders is a short trip to Greensboro, N.C. for the Forest Oaks Fall Classic hosted by UNC Greensboro. The two-day event will be contested at Forest Oaks Country Club, Sept. 29-30.
