HOW IT HAPPENED
- On the strength of a .466 attack percentage, UNC Asheville downed Radford in straight sets in both teams' regular-season finale Saturday afternoon inside the Justice Center.
- The Bulldogs, who secured the No. 4 seed for next week's Big South volleyball tournament, hit .556 in the first set and .516 in the final frame.
- RU, which will garner the No. 6 seed for the conference tournament, was limited to a .240 attack clip in the three-set affair.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Megan Short was the lone Highlander to reach double-figure kills, knocking down 11 at a .348 attack efficiency.
- Haley Kleespies distributed 34 assists and two aces.
- Madison Vaughn paced three Bulldogs in double-figure kills with 11. Christine Lakatos and Catherine Fischer both chipped in 10.
- Katie Davis engineered Asheville's offense behind her 46 assists.
