HOW IT HAPPENED

Radford received double-figure scoring contributions from five different players to propel the Highlanders to a 79-68 non-conference women's basketball win over Davidson Wednesday inside the Dedmon Center.
The game was part of the Highlanders' first-ever Education Day, where over 1,000 local elementary students attended to make for an incredible environment for the mid-day matinee.
After falling behind by eight (19-11) with 2:04 remaining in the opening quarter, Radford responded with a 15-0 run that was capped by back-to-back 3-pointers from Jen Falconer and Aisha Foy.
That momentum carried the Highlanders into break on top, 37-35.
Radford could not put away the Wildcats until late in the fourth quarter behind a 10-0 run spanning 4:40.
The Highlanders held Davidson without a field goal for nearly six minutes during their late-game surge.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

Five Highlanders reached double figures, offensively, for the first time since Jan. 24, 2013, which was an overtime game at Campbell.
Jen Falconer dropped in a season-high 15 points behind a 4 for 4 performance from 3-point range.
Jayda Worthy recorded her third straight double-double (11 points, 13 rebounds). It was the seventh time in her career she pulled down double-digit rebounds.
Gaby Gilmore (14), Rachael Ross (14) and Janayla White (13) also reached double-figure scoring.
Radford connected on a season-high 51.8 percent of its shots, including an electrifying 7 of 11 mark from downtown.
The Highlanders outrebounded Davidson, 41-35. The Wildcats entered the game averaging 43.8 boards per contest.
Twenty-one of the Highlanders' 29 made field goals were assisted. RU topped the 20-assist mark in back-to-back games for the first time under head coach Mike McGuire. Worthy, Falconer and Foy dished out five dimes apiece.
Radford converted 14 of its 21 free-throw opportunities, including a 5 for 5 clip from White.
The Highlanders improved their home winning streak to 11 straight games.
Mackenzie Latt dialed up a game-high 23 points on 7 of 12 shooting to pace Davidson's offense.
Hannah Early chipped in 18 points for the visitors, including a 3 for 12 effort from deep.
