HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sparked by a Dedmon Center-record 33 assists, Radford placed seven scorers in double figures as the Highlanders dismantled Central Penn, 123-63, in non-conference men's basketball action Sunday afternoon inside the Dedmon Center.
- Only leading by eight (23-15), the Highlanders embarked on a 23-10 run over the next six minutes to stretch their lead to 18 (43-25). Caleb Tanner scored nine of his 12 first-half points during this run on the strength of three straight 3-pointers.
- RU outscored the Knights 66-32 in the second stanza, while shooting 68.2 percent from the field.
- Radford fell one point shy of matching the Dedmon Center record for points scored in a contest. The record was set by the Highlanders in a 124-104 win versus Emory & Henry on Jan. 7, 2008.
- Seven players in double figures are the most by the Highlanders this season.
- Caleb Tanner led Radford with a season-high 16 points off the bench, going 4 for 9 from behind the arc.
- Rounding out the Highlanders' double-figure scorers were Brandon Holcomb (14), Cameron Jones (14), Taj Owens (11), Devin Cooper (10) and Justin Cousin (10).
- Cooper scored all of his season-high 10 points in the second half on a perfect 4 for 4 slate in the half.
- Four Highlanders dished out four-plus assists in the win, led by Christian Lutete's six.
- Radford outrebounded Central Penn, 65-25, including 20 offensive boards. The Highlanders' 65 rebounds are also a Dedmon Center record. RU boarded 61 misses against Central Connecticut State on Dec. 12, 1990.

- Andre Batte delivered 17 points to lead Central Penn. Johnny Rhodes followed with a 16-point effort.
- Radford held the Knights to 29.9 percent shooting—the lowest by an opponent this season.
- The Highlanders made 11 of 30 from 3-point land, marking the third time RU has made double-digit 3-pointers on the year.
QUOTABLE
- "It was good to get back on the court after taking some days off for Christmas. Our guys just came back [yesterday], so we only had one day to get ready for Central Penn. I was pleased with the effort, overall. I thought we had some really good pockets of playing hard and playing intense, defensively. Coincidentally, we were able to hold them in the 60s. I was really pleased with the way we shared the basketball. We are hard to guard when we share the basketball like that." ~ Radford head coach, Mike Jones
