GEORGETOWN, S.C. – The first round of the 2015 Big South Women's Golf Championship has been washed out due to torrential rain at The DeBordieu Club on Monday. Big South officials made the decision in the early afternoon after play was suspended three times.
Even though most teams completed at least nine holes, all scores will be thrown out. The championship will now be shortened to 36 holes, with the opening round beginning Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. Radford, Winthrop and Gardner-Webb will begin their first round at 8:20 a.m. off the par-4 first hole.
Live scoring will be available throughout the tournament on Golfstat.
