CALDWELL EARNS LONE SINGLES WIN IN 5-2 LOSS TO PRESBYTERIAN

CLINTON, S.C. – Radford dropped its ninth straight match on the season in a 5-2 decision to Presbyterian in Big South play, Tuesday afternoon at the Templeton Tennis Courts.

Radford started off hot with two doubles victories, taking a 1-0 lead, but cooled off in singles action.

Alexandros Caldwell picked up the only Highlander win in singles action, defeating Alejandro Bejar 7-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7).

The victory gives Caldwell his third consecutive win in singles play, improving to 5-4 on the season.

Radford (0-9) will host Coastal Carolina on Saturday in a Big South meeting at 12 p.m.
