MEEKERS EARNS WIN IN 6-1 BIG SOUTH LOSS TO COASTAL CAROLINA

RADFORD, Va. – Radford fell to Coastal Carolina 6-1 in Big South play on a chilly Saturday afternoon at the RU Tennis Complex.

Four different Highlanders won their first set in singles action, but only one earned a match point as Michiel Meekers collected a 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 victory over Pedro Leme in No. 3 play.

The win gives Meekers his first Big South win on the year.

Radford (0-10) looks to earn its first win of the season on Wednesday, hosting Bluefield for a 3:30 p.m. match.
