RADFORD CONCLUDES FALL SEASON ON SUNDAY IN HOKIE FALL INVITE

BLACKSBURG, Va. – After completing play on day two of the Hokie Fall Invite, Radford found itself with one singles player in a third-place match and two in fifth-place matches to join a doubles tandem in a fourth-place match to be played on Sunday.
After picking up the only singles win on Friday, Jeanine Acierto will play for third-place in the UT Prosim Flight after dropping a 6-0, 6-2 semifianl match to Shene Disbergen on Saturday. Acierto will face Michaela Klushka of James Madison on Sunday.
Drousile Dzeubou will play for fifth-place in the Sacrifice Flight after defeating Julia Herlogsson of George Washington in a thrilling 6-1, 2-6, 10-2 victory. Dzeubou will face Melati Devi on Sunday.
Tyler Blalock joins Dzeubou in a fifth-place match after defeating Sofia Sualche 7-5, 7-6 (4) in Service Flight consolation semifinal matchup. Blalock will take on Curran Carver of Wofford on Sunday in the fifth-place match.
After defeating Sarah Baron and Shene Disbergen of Virginia Tech in the Maroon Doubles quarterfinals, Dzeubou and Blalock dropped a semifinal match to Noumea Witmus and Paola Expositio Diaz-Delgado of VCU 7-5. The duo will take on Maria Siopacha and Victoria Kogan of George Washington in the fourth-place match on Sunday.
In Orange Doubles Flight consolation semifinal action, Natalie Sayer and Lotti Meszaros defeated the James Madison team of Jona Roka and Dylan Owens with a score of 6-3. The tandem will face Nelli Ponomreva and Lena Babunski of Miami on Sunday in the fifth-place match.
Rounding out doubles, Acierto and Zoe Fraser knocked off Nancy Ghanem and Fallon Delp of Virginia Tech in the Maroon Doubles consolation semifinals by the score of 7-5. On Sunday, the duo will face Hannah Klatsky and Liyin Xu of Penn State in the fifth-place match.
In singles action, Sayer fell to Virginia Tech's Nina Sorkin 6-2, 6-0 in Brotherhood Flight consolation semifinal action. Sayer will face Penn State's Shannon Hanley in the seventh-place match on Sunday. Meszaros joins Sayer in a seventh-place match after dropping a 6-1, 6-2 match to Milana Lysova of Miami in the Honor Flight consolation semifinals. Meszaros will take on Rebekah Anderson of Liberty on Sunday.
Radford concludes its fall season Sunday in the final day of the Hokie Fall Invite.
