WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Radford women's golf team finished play and improved its score by four strokes in the final round of the Kingsmill Intercollegiate on Tuesday at the River Course at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
After shooting 326 as a team for the first two rounds of action, Radford finished with a 322 in the final day of play. Meagan Board finished with a three-over (75), which was the best of any Highlander at the tournament, and carded two birdies.
Board's three-over propelled her from 87th to a tie for 58th, the best finish for Radford in the tournament. Khushboo Thiagaraj finished the day with a six-over (78) and jumped eight spots to finish in a tie for 65th. Her final score was one behind Board as she finished with a 238.
Radford finished ahead St. Francis (Pa.) by 24 strokes and went up nine strokes on the final day of action.
