RADFORD, Va. – The Radford women's tennis team got back to its winning ways with a 7-0 victory over USC Upstate on Wednesday.

The match started in Radford's favor as Malin Falk and Katey Fruehauf took the first doubles match and Jeanine Acierto and Anastasia Belyaeva clinched the point with a 6-2 victory.

Drousile Dzeubou took care of business and was the first singles match to complete. She defended court 2 and won 6-3, 6-0. Anastasia Belyaeva added to the scoreboard with a 6-4, 6-4 win on court 1. That gave Radford a 3-0 lead.

Just one singles match away from clinching the match and getting back over .500, Radford knew they had a good chance to do so. Tyler Blalock did just that with a 6-4, 7-5 win on court 4. She gave Radford its fourth point and its ninth win of the season.

Jeanine Acierto and Katey Fruehauf earned a pair of victories before Malin Falk gave Radford its seventh and final point.

UP NEXT
The Highlanders will have their final three matches at home with the first on Saturday at 1 p.m., against Gardner-Webb.
