RADFORD CARDS TOP-FIVE FINISH AT BENBOW INVITATIONAL

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Radford women's golf team earned its second top-five finish in the last three weeks on Tuesday at the Benbow Invitational. The Highlanders finished in fourth place after a final-round team score of 310.

Natalie Welsh led the Highlanders and carded a top-10 finish, placing in a tie for sixth. Welsh shot a final-round score of 78. Jayde Dudley moved into the top 10 on the final day, making three birdies and shooting a 76, including a 1-over 36 on the front nine.

Riko Nagai made the biggest jump among Radford's five players and had the best second-round score of the five Highlanders on the course. Nagai shot a 4-over 75 on the day and had the best back-nine score of anyone on the team, a 1-over 37. Nagai moved from a tie for 50th to inside the top 30.

Sidney Walker finished just outside the top 20 after a final-round score of 81 placed her in a tie for 21st. Beatriz Mosquera Quintas finished in a tie for 47th after a second-round score of 82.
