RADFORD FINISHES SECOND ROUND OF KIAWAH ISLAND CLASSIC

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – The Radford women's golf team completed its second round of the Kiawah Island Classic on Monday, shooting a team score of 307. The Highlanders jumped three spots and currently occupy 27th place of the 52 schools.

College of Charleston has two teams in the field, but their 'B' team is not reflected in these scores.

Jayde Dudley continues to lead the Highlanders overall at 3-over, but it was Sidney Walker who posted the best round for Radford on Monday. Walker had a team-high four birdies in the round, shot a 1-under 35 on the back nine and finished the day with a 2-over 74. Natalie Welsh shot an even-par 36 on the front nine on her way to a 76, a five-shot improvement from her first-round score.

Dudley finished with a 3-over 75 and is tied for 27th, while Walker is at 5-over for the tournament and tied for 52nd.

Beatriz Mosquera Quintas and Riko Nagai each shot an 82 to round out Radford's score.
