Radford Falls at Charleston Southern

Charleston, S.C. – In the second game of a two-game road swing, the Radford Volleyball team fell to Charleston Southern 3-0 in Big South Conference action Saturday afternoon at the CSU Field House.
The Buccaneers took the first set 25-15. The next two games were tightly contested, with neither team gaining any separation. Ultimately, Charleston Southern won both sets by a score of 25-22.
Senior Kennedi Johnson paced the visitors with nine kills. In total, six different Highlanders recorded at least one kill. Fellow senior Samantha Reitz also contributed with three service aces.
Radford did record 10 total blocks in the losing effort, including two apiece by Johnson and Reitz.
KEY STATS
The Highlanders will return home for just the third time this season as they welcome USC Upstate to the Dedmon Center next Friday. Game time is slated for 6 p.m.

- Reitz' three service aces were a personal single-game career-high. She had previously had only two all year.
- Logan Williams recorded 25 of Radford's 27 assists.
