ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Radford women's golf team concluded play at the Winthrop Invitational on Tuesday, finishing in 7th place after both days of competition.

On day one the Highlanders shot 46-over (334) as a team in the first round, with Natalie Welsh posting the low round of the day for Radford at six over. Welsh added two birdies in the first round while Sidney Walker also added a birdie of her own.

Moving on to day two the Highlanders shot 42-over (330) as a team in the second round, with Jayde Dudley posting the low round of the day for Radford at five-over. Her two birdies led the team and Welsh continued her strong play into day two with a birdie and shooting twelve over.

The redshirt freshman Nikki Batac made her first appearance as a Highlander and shot twelve-over on both days independently.

Overall, USC Upstate won the tournament at 40-over as a team leap-frogging Campbell who was sitting in first place after the first day of the tournament. Anna Nordfors for Campbell led the field at one-over after finishing the first round even.
