RADFORD, Va. – After helping the Radford men's basketball team to important wins over N.C. Central and George Washington, Kenyon Giles has been named the Big South Freshman of the Week, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.
 
This marks the second time Giles has been selected for the award; he was also tabbed as Freshman of the Week on Nov. 14.
 
The Silverado High School product averaged 8.5 points and 2.5 assists to give the Highlanders a boost off the bench this week. He shot 50.0% (6-12) from the field, 50.0% (2-4) from beyond the arc and 75.0% (3-4) at the free throw line.
 
Giles is tied for second on the team and ranks 18^th in the Big South with 11.2 points per game. He's also 11^th in the league with 1.3 steals per game.
