Women’s Tennis Falls in Close Match Against Campbell

RADFORD, Va. – Radford (9-9, 3-3 BSC) fell to a tough Campbell squad 4-3 at home Friday afternoon despite picking up a trio of singles courts.
In singles play the Highlanders got their three wins from Salma Loudili, Malin Falk and Ameek Batth. Loudili was efficient in dispatching her opponent in straight sets winning 6-4, 6-1. Batth had a tough second set over on court five but battled back to win in the third set tiebreaker 6-2, 0-6, 1-0(7).
Falk was the final court to finish over on court three as she also went three sets and hung on in an intense tiebreaker to win 6-4, 4-6, 1-0(10). That marked Falk's tenth victory of the spring, while Loudili's singles win was her team-best 15th on the top flight.

The Highlanders final home conference game is this upcoming Monday against UNC Asheville and will also be the team's Senior Day.
