
Marangoni Joins Men’s Tennis for Upcoming Season

RADFORD, VA. – The Radford Men's Tennis team welcomed the addition of Filippo Marangoni Tuesday afternoon. Marangoni is set to join the team for the start of the Fall tournament schedule.
Marangoni will be a freshman with the Highlanders next season. He began his tennis journey at the age of seven in Sao Paulo, Brazil. At the age of 10 he began and competing and by the time he was 12 he became the number one player in the state and country.
Marangoni immigrated to the United States when he turned 13 to study and play tennis in Florida. He trained at the Montverde Academy which where state champions in 2018 and national champions in 2019. Marangoni will also bring with him to the NRV a 10.90 UTR.
