RADFORD, Va. – The Radford Relays kick off a 2022 Radford Cross Country schedule that features five races to prepare for the Big South Championships, followed by NCAA Regionals and Championships, the program announced on Friday afternoon.
The Highlanders will get to begin their fall season by defending their home turf for the first time since 2020 on Thursday, Sept. 1. They'll then make a pair of trips within the Commonwealth of Virginia – Sept. 10 at Longwood's Lancer Invite and Sept. 16 at James Madison's JMU Invite.
Louisville's Live in the Lou takes place on Oct. 1 and then Radford returns to Salem, Va. for the Roanoke Invite on Oct. 14.
Longwood will host the Big South Championships on Oct. 29 this year, followed by the NCAA Southeast Regionals (Nov. 11) and NCAA Championships (Nov. 19).
Head Coach
Sam Bradley leads the Highlanders once again as he enters his fourth year at the helm of the program. The women's squad returns a ton of talent and experience thanks to a roster that includes eight upperclassmen. The men's team is also looking to have a big year thanks to six upperclassmen of their own.
