GREENWOOD, S.C. – The Radford women's golf team took ninth place at the 2023 Big South Championships, carding a 317 in Friday's third and final round of stroke play.
Â
The Highlanders shot 322-314-317—953 across 54 holes in the race for the conference title, ending their first trip to The Links at Stoney Point at 89-over par. A 3.42 stroke average (+25) on Par 3's and a 4.57 stroke average (+86) on Par 4's proved to be the team's Achilles heel.

Â
Natalie Welsh proudly completed her collegiate career with an excellent showing, claiming 14th out of 50 golfers with a 14-over par. She kept her score in the 70's in all three rounds, carding a 75-76-79—230 with a team-high five birdies.
Â
Hannah Lindemann wrapped up a stellar sophomore campaign by placing 33rd at +23. The Charlotte, N.C. native finished first or second for Radford in six tournaments this season and is poised to lead next year's squad once again.
Â
Also concluding her collegiate career was Niki Batac, who took 35th at +26 while junior Jimenna Ramirez came in just behind in 36th at +27. Batac had her best round of the week on Friday, sinking two birdies to score a 79.
Â
Crossing the finish line in 40th during her final tournament representing Radford was Jayde Dudley. She finished 38-over par.
