BOONE, NC – The Radford men's and women's cross country teams continued making strides on Friday morning, competing in the Covered Bridge Invite. The women's team placed third, while the men's team came in fourth. Both teams were on the heels of regionally and nationally ranked Florida State and Wake Forrest. Numerous runners also found themselves adding times to the school record book during this meet.
"We were tremendous today on both sides. We came in with the goal of laying down a benchmark to see where were at early season," said Coach Bradley. "Both the men's and women's teams executed extremely well and the internal feedback from within the team was incredible. To have the opportunity to go up against some nationally ranked competition on both sides, was a lot of fun, and I believe that we held our own in a very competitive environment."
